Happy Father’s Day

Brothers,

Heavenly Father, you entrusted your Son Jesus, the child of Mary, to the care of Joseph, his foster father. Bless all fathers and grandfathers as they care for their families. Give them strength and wisdom, tenderness and patience, give them ability to love in a way that reflects your love. Support them in the work they have to do, protecting those who look to them, as we look to you for love and salvation. Help us to love them in a way that would bring honor to You and them. Bless and heal all those wounded by the imperfections of their fathers and grant an eternal rest to our fathers you have called from this life to yourself, through Jesus Christ Lord.
Amen

May we continue to succeed in our role as Fathers.

I hope to see you all at our April 3rd meeting. Dinner at 6, Fraternal Benefit discussion at 6:40, meeting at 7. We will also have an Exemplification at 6:15 if you know of anyone who would like to join our council.

Guest Speaker: David Sullivan, SMdM Parishioner and Past County Commissioner

Please send me your RSVP (bconochalla@gmail.com) for the Past Grand Knight Luncheon. This is open to Knights and spouses and there is no cost. I just need a count. It will be a soup and sandwich luncheon. Please, if you could, bring a dessert. We’ll have door prizes and our usual 50/50 drawing.

We are going to recognize Brother Byrant Perszyk, PGK for his achievements during the past fraternal year.

Passing of District Deputy Paul Gloekler

Brothers,

It is with heavy heart I have to announce the passing of our District Deputy and Past Grand Knight Brother and Sir Knight Paul Gloekler. Paul passed away suddenly on the night of December 1^st. Paul was an inspiration to all of us as Grand Knight and Director of our Life Committee. He previously served as the Florida State Council Life Director and was instrumental in getting Ultrasound machines in pregnancy centers throughout the state of Florida. He will be missed.

Please keep Patti and his children in your prayers.

God of all consolation, in Your unending love and mercy for us, You turn the darkness of death into the dawn of new life. Show compassion to Your people in sorrow. Be our refuge and our strength to lift us from the darkness of this grief to peace and joy in Your presence. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
